Hog Weed contains large quantities of pottasium salts and is diuretic in property. Fresh boiled herb is to be administered orally and a strong dose can induce vomitting. It is highly succesful in discharging the excess fluid in the body system by inducing increased urination. 4 to 16 grams of liquid extract of the dry fruit can also be given.
